Easily customizable in pitch by twisting the top of the device, I found myself using the deepest pitch and loudest volume setting, in an attempt to block that random foreign noise pollution that inevitably occurs in a city at night. This is a great option and for a while this really worked for me, but after a few years I graduated to using a more traditional bluetooth speaker for sleeping-sounds, as it can produce lower bass tones (to block out the subwoofer of my neighbors music) and more dynamic sounds (with the ability to play any App or MP3). But still, the simplicity and easy of use makes the SoundScreen 980-A work great in applications like for children (especially autistic kids or of young age), hospitals, or guest bedrooms.
