Free to play and a relatively small file size (for what it is), just download, hop into a public lobby, and dive in - I immediately found the gameplay to be a ton of fun. Players can take a few bullets, meaning you don't die instantly, and can actually have a more strategical firefight, pushing if you're advantaged, or retreating to heal.
